Matapedia – Rethinking Tourism Online: A UX Case Study
This project presents a conceptual redesign of the website for the town of Matapedia, showcasing my approach to web design for the tourism industry. The goal? To create a digital experience that attracts visitors while supporting the local economy.
I focused on balancing aesthetics with practical content, highlighting Matapedia’s outdoor activities, cultural heritage, and commitment to sustainable tourism. Keyword optimization, immersive visuals, and user-friendly features—such as an interactive map and sample events calendar—enhance the user experience.
Available in both light and dark mode, this design reflects my vision of the web as a tool for tourism.
Tools Used: Figma, Framer, Gemini, ChatGPT, Anna Hickman's Framer Template
